Welcome to my page!  Thanks for visiting!  I live in Lafayette with my husband, John, and our two daughters Elizabeth and Rachel.

I was born in Lafayette, moved away for several years, and then came back to West Lafayette for high school and have been in West Lafayette/Lafayette ever since.  I attended Harrison High School in West Lafayette.  I then went on to attend Purdue University and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in reading.  During my first few years of teaching I took classes at Purdue to earn a Master's Degree in Literacy and Language Education (basically a fancy title for reading).

This is my 21st year of teaching (the last 20 of which have been with Lafayette School Corporation). I have taught in many different grades/positions including kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, library/computer lab, and Title I reading/math intervention. I love working with young children to help them learn and to be the best person they can be!
