Hello My Name Is...

I have been teaching for 15 years.  After graduating from Purdue University Calumet with my B.S. in Elementary Education, I spent one year teaching in Illinois before moving to Lafayette. This is my 14th year teaching in the Lafayette School Corporation. During this time I received my Masters in Literacy and Language from Purdue University, West Lafayette. I have worked as a Title I Reading Teacher for grades K-5, and have taught 3rd and 1st grades. When I'm not teaching, I can usually be found with a book in my hand. My hope is that my students become as passionate about reading as I am.
