During the month of August we will be working on procedures in the classroom.

You can talk with your student about what kindness means, how to behave in the hall, what does respect mean to your family?

Reading:
We will be learning about the beginning, middle, and endings in story. Talk to your student about what excites them in a good book!

Writing:
We are learning how to write friendly letters, this means learning about commas, dates, and especially good punctuation.

Math:
During our math block we have been working on skip counting, arrays, and basic addition facts.
